Response to the Quran, #1.

The Quran:
"And if you are in doubt about what We have sent down upon Our Servant [Muhammad], then produce a surah the like thereof and call upon your witnesses other than Allah, if you should be truthful. But if you do not - and you will never be able to - then fear the Fire, whose fuel is men and stones, prepared for the disbelievers." -- Surah 2:23-24

Here this, O Quran: I need not produce a surah of my own. To do so would be blasphemy akin to you. There is a text far superior to you, and you stand condemned.

The Bible:
"But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him burn in hell. As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him burn in hell!" -- Paul, in his letter to the Galatians, 1:8-9

"I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book, and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book." -- The Revelation of Jesus the Messiah, 22:18-19.
