Alright. If you're a liberal, you might have to watch this a few more times to get it. Don't give up. It's not that hard to understand what everybody else already knows about the government.

That was good in a terrible way.
These These videos have been so helpful to me in explaining to a British friend why I don't like government healthcare. She's very pro-Obama and basically pro-socialism, though she's a Christian. I basically only have 1 friend here who really agrees with me (but that's cuz most of my friends aren't even American)
And the more I learn about our country's history (I just finished WWI and am on to the effects of Keynesian economics in America)the more I understand the folly of Big Government.

...I've got a Canadian friend who, although pretty solid theologically, has bought into most of the liberal lies about corporations causing all our problems and government being efficient and benevolent. He thinks the socialized medicine in Canada is great. He's young, though. If he were older before he came to the States, he would more likely have experienced wait-lists and rejection.
Ha ha. I just watched those videos... most excellent. They communicate the important concepts really well.

The first is, do you have any input on the statement I make in the SoS and Dragons post, when I mention Psalm 104 and the tense change?
And, secondly, what's the Hebrew word for "Story?"

Thanks for clearing up the passage in Psalms. I had read that biblical Hebrew had no tenses, but wasn't sure how that worked out in translation.
I think I may have found "story" - Aggadah. I don't need it for another... I don't know how many months, though. It's for the title of a 7-movement piece I'm (Hoping/trying) to compose. I think our pastor has a Hebrew dictionary sitting on his shelf though (well, I don't think, I know. My sister and I spend forever looking at his bookshelves when we go over there).
BTW... do you know of any good books for learning Hebrew? I'd love to do it, but am still deciding if I'd have time to do it next year.
